Vialis develops integrated solutions for managing traffic flows on the road and water. They design, realize and manage intelligent and robust systems for complex tunnels, bridges, locks, barrages and water purification, in which safeguarding their safety, availability and reliability is of paramount importance. By setting ambitious goals, they realize large projects at home and abroad.

In order to achieve all this, the internal organization is also critically examined. LMP was able to contribute to this by organizing an intensive Lean training, after which subsequent value stream maps (VSMs) were created from the various internal processes. More than 30 improvement projects have been selected from this VSM, 20 of which were carried out as Kaizen events under the supervision of LMP!

The result included significant annual cost savings (+/- € 0.5 M on an annual basis), which also improved mutual cooperation and internal communication.
