As a repair company, Andritz Den Helder must be able to respond quickly to customer requests. The Lean Management Program therefore matched their desire to serve customers even faster. The Lean tools make it possible to significantly speed up the repair throughput time, while the process could also run much more efficiently. But the quotation lead time could also be addressed. Through the development of a so-called Pricemaker a reduction of throughputtime of 50% could be achieved. Based on this success, Andritz will implement the program for all its repair companies within the EU. A very pleasant and good cooperation between LMP and Andritz!
